Patricia Farrell, class of 1984
Next up in our #HumansOfMuckross is ..
Patricia Farrell - class of 1984
What do you miss the most about Muckross?
“ Sister Patrick - our class really adored her! She would be in every Monday morning waiting to hear all the news from her girls! “
“ The one Muckross memory that I will always have in my mind is our final year concert! Most of us had never mixed the the A or B stream and we got to know each other (unfortunately at the end of our school time!)”
“ I made great friends and I am still in touch, we meet up twice a year! I still have my best friend from School, Paula 💚"
What are you up to now?
" I spent my all of life working in Catering section. I have retired to become a full time Foster Mum to Carla. We are her full time carers and guardians until she is 18. Carla is the most amazing young girl. Living with us 8 years this year. Carla is mine and my husband's whole heart. We couldn't have children together "
Advice for your 18 year old self:
“ Be yourself and nothing more, and remember to please yourself “
“ I have a wicked personality, love the craic and socialising! When I went to our 30 year reunion! I was talking to Ms Mee and at the end she said to me that she was delighted to see that I still never stop talking! 😂 “
Thank you, Patricia for your lovely input! If you or anyone reading this would like to nominate themselves, a friend or a family member to partake as one of our #HumansOfMuckross - please get in touch on one of our social media pages or via email muckrossppu@gmail.com 💚
