'' Muckross is a network for life ''
‘’ I’m very lucky to have made an amazing group of Muckross friends who I see very regularly. I suppose miss the daily meet up with all the school friends. Our year was pretty close and I think no matter what year you were in the Muckross camaraderie stays with you. Often bump into past pupils from my year or different years - there is always the Muckross connection. Muckross mafia if you will! ’’
‘’ Dominican nuns and Muckross teaching staff were a great bunch. Dominicans were definitely forward-thinking; all about equal rights and empowering women. Girl power at its very best! They believed everyone had their strengths regardless of what area it was in. [I loved] school tours, particularly Austrian trip in ‘94. School concerts were great craic too (..with the boys schools!!). Lots of very happy memories, filled with good laughs, strong friendships, and the back field at lunch break! ‘’
‘’ I’m living in Dublin now, I’m in a relationship and have a 3.5 year old son Laurenzo (my best achievement!). Love to spend time in nature and on the Shannon at weekends, and like to photograph what I enjoy.
I work in wholesale fashion, Sales Manager Ireland for a German brand Bianca - absolutely love my job! Have always been very interested in fashion. My key role and strength is my strong relationships with my customers. I think something that may stem from Muckross ethos and environment. I travel a bit in season, but am a home bird at heart! ‘’
Advice for you 18 year old self:
‘’ Maybe to be more studious and less social.. but don’t regret a moment of it! Also, you can deal with whatever life throws at you. Made easier with great family and friends. They always have your back! ‘’
