Clara Carroll, class of 2003

#HumansOfMuckross is our new campaign that connects past pupils together & gives us an insider's look into the cool things everyone's up to post-green skirt era 💚

Next up we've got ...

Clara Carroll, class of 2003

" It’s hard to say what I miss most because I’ve carried the best parts with me"

"My closest friends are those I made during my time in Muckross. They’re the ones I’ve grown up with, travelled the world with and shared the best and most challenging times with "

" My best memories are the friends I made, and the school tours to Rome, Paris and skiing in San Valentino. I’m not sure we realised at the time just how lucky we were to go on such incredible trips "

Advice for your 18 year old self:
" Don’t sweat the small stuff! Work hard but also enjoy the time with your friends and family. Travel the world and experience living and working in a different country, something I’ve been fortunate enough to do "

" Currently living in Dublin, married to Ronan and working in a fantastic job as Associate Director of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme. This role allows me to enjoy the best parts of marketing & event management, both areas I’ve studied & have spent the last 12 years working in. This job has enabled me to travel to amazing destinations & work with some of Ireland’s top entrepreneurs "

FUN FACT: Clara started her own hat design business. It's more so a hobby outside of the day job now but very enjoyable nonetheless!

Thanks so much for sharing your stories & advice, Clara! You get to nominate the next interviewee ✅
