" What I miss the most about Muckross is the banter with my friends and seeing them every day and the excitement amongst us whenever we spotted a “boy in the school” grounds and ensured we let them know they had been spotted!"

" I have so many favourite memories but my favourite has to be playing hockey in two Leinster Senior Cup finals. I loved the support we had on the sideline and in particular a half time show that involved one of my friends dressed up in a chicken costume and another girl dressed up as the milk carton from the Blur music video “Coffee and TV”. Another memory is the fun we had on our last day of school and making jokes about the other years in our 6th year play. "

What are you up to now?

" I currently work as a HR Manager at Mediolanum Asset Management Ltd (an Italian Asset Mgmt company) and am based in Dublin. "

Any advice for your 18 year old self?

" The Leaving Cert does not define you and is not worth half the stress. Be more confident and content in your own skin. Going outside the house with no make up is perfectly acceptable. Don’t ever use sun in in your hair. Don’t let anybody stop you from living your dreams. "

FUN FACT: Fiona has travelled to 6 out of 7 continents and hopes to get to Antarctica one day!
